Perfect location right across from the beach access and a restaurant. Plenty of room and a great setup inside. We enjoyed sitting on the covered front porch listening to the waves. We will definitely be back!

Emily’s place is beautifully decorated and free of clutter which is amazing when traveling with dogs! Her fence was secure had a nice firepit and nice neighbors! Baby bears were seen from the front porch! Her home is located a perfect walk to town! I would definitely stay here again

We had such an amazing time at Emily’s place! She was so sweet and was able to accommodate an early check in for us. The house was spotless and the beds were so comfortable! The porch had a great view of the pier and the ocean, we ate dinner right across the street at Island Ways and it was amazing. We can’t wait to come back and book with her again!

The host was responsive, and the place was perfect for our family of 4. The walk into town is about 1 mile. It is close to Montreat and in a quiet neighborhood. The fenced-in backyard was great for our dog.

This was a great location for our family to visit friends/family in Black Mountain. It was great for the kids and we enjoyed Christmas morning there. Thank you for the accommodation and the house was clean and had all the things we needed for cooking.

One of the highest rated restaurants in all of Oak Island is Island Way, which truly does have a terrific view. Why share that here? It is literally down the stairs, and across the street, less than a 1-minute walk away. LOTS of people have to walk to beach entrances, also across the street, just to the right of the parking lot, less than a 1-minute walk away. The pier (great for fishing / not much else / not free), same as the others, just to the left of the restaurant. So if you wanted a great location, I highly recommend this Airbnb.

This place was perfect for our trip to Oak Island for our family’s running event. The beds were a little stiff, maybe bring a mattress topper if you need a soft mattress. Otherwise, it was excellent and my niece and nephew had fun playing with the toys in the double bunkbed room!! We had everything we needed for the weekend trip!

Perfect location. The views were great! We cooked all of our breakfast and dinners there and had more than enough kitchen utensils. Just overall great stay!! The house inside was even better than the pictures.
